Friday 16.01.26 I was blessed to provide acoustic music on Sophie and Tayla’s wedding day.

The sun was out, the views were impeccable and everyone there treated Amber and I with so much warmth.

It was easy to feel like we fit right in. Both brides had their perfect day and the music was enjoyed by all.

It’s incredible to say that my job is to make people happy with music. What an absolute honour.

I was absolutely blown away on Sunday. My beautiful partner (now fiance) asked me to marry her in the perfect way. At Parasol & Swing a bar I frequently DJ at just before my set, a familiar place with familiar faces.

The manager brought out a tray with champagne and the perfect ring while Kirsty Sutherland played ‘Marry you’ by Bruno mars. Friends and strangers around us were cheering and clapping felt like spontaneous party, just for us. The rest of the night I was left on a high doing the thing I love with the woman I love who’s soon to be my wife.

I was stunned and am incredibly grateful to the staff for helping Amber pull off the perfect surprise. Parasol and Swing will forever be a special place to me with such a great memory, again many thanks to Kirsty and all the staff at Parasol & Swing ❤️
